Germany-Based Brainlab Opens New Operations Center In Westchester, Illinois
11/25/2015
Headquartered in Munich, Germany, Brainlab develops, manufactures and markets software-driven medical technology, enabling access to advanced, less invasive patient treatments. Core products center on information-guided surgery, radiosurgery, precision radiation therapy, digital operating room integration, and information and knowledge exchange. Brainlab technology powers treatments in radiosurgery and radiotherapy as well as numerous surgical fields including neurosurgery, orthopedic, ENT, CMF, spine and trauma.
Encompassing the building’s entire 10th floor, the Brainlab office is designed to transform working practices and encourage collaboration among the more than 70 employees in the workplace. Chicagoland architecture firm Baumann Studios LLC designed the open-floor plan for the Brainlab Westchester headquarters while Interior Construction Group, Inc. developed the offices.
“Brainlab is on trend in creating an office space where innovation and performance are built on personal interactions,” said Sean Clark, President of Brainlab, Inc. “Our new space provides a collaborative working environment through an open floor plan, state of the art interactive zones, and a streamlined design with room for future growth.”
According to company officials, Brainlab expanded its presence into downtown Chicago earlier this year with the opening of its new state-of-the-art customer training center in the iconic Wrigley Building. Along with providing office space for the corporate marketing and education teams, the downtown office provides an enhanced and urban experience for visiting customers. Brainlab Academy, the company’s comprehensive training program, a premier product demonstration area and engaging, interactive meeting spaces are all within close proximity to premier Chicago attractions.
