Swisher Expands Jacksonville, Florida, Manufacturing Operations

Consumer products company Swisher plans to expand its operations in Jacksonville, Florida. The $135 million project is expected to create 240 jobs by the end of 2027.

The investment at the company’s existing manufacturing facility will support the growing demand for its nicotine and caffeine oral pouch products.

“Swisher is entering one of the most dynamic growth periods in our history,” said Neil Kiely, President and CEO. “As consumer preferences evolve, Swisher is uniquely positioned to deliver high-quality, innovative products at scale. This expansion strengthens our competitive advantage, creates hundreds of local jobs, and fuels economic opportunity for the communities we proudly call home.”

Swisher is a lifestyle and tobacco company best known as the manufacturer of Swisher Sweets cigar brand.

“Under Governor Ron DeSantis’ leadership, Florida is the fastest growing manufacturing state in the nation, especially in advanced and precision manufacturing,” noted Florida Secretary of Commerce J.
