Expansion of RV Manufacturer in Indiana to Create Up to 250 Jobs
12/28/2011
A division of Thor Motor Coach, Crossroads manufactures fifth-wheel recreational vehicles. Currently it employs over 600 people at multiple Indiana plants located in Syracuse and Topeka.
"The new plant will give us the needed flexibility to expand our Cruiser line of RVs," said President Don Emahiser. "The workforce in Topeka is top-notch in our industry, and we are glad that we are able to expand at our home in this area."
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered the RV firm up to $2.25 million in conditional tax credits, and up to $200,000 in training grants based upon the company meeting job-creation targets.
Hiring for the new administration, manufacturing and maintenance positions begins in early 2012.
