Faurecia Building Manufacturing Center in Blue Springs, Missouri

A leading automotive technology company, Faurecia will build a new $60 million, 250,000-square-foot interiors production facility, part of the Kansas City Metro area, in Blue Springs, Missouri.

The company, a global leader in developing automotive seating, interior systems and clean mobility, will create 300 new jobs. The company will build a new facility on a 25-acre parcel adjacent to NE 20th street on the north side of Interstate 70 in Blue Springs.

The plant will manufacture and assemble door and instrument panels using the latest technologies. According to Kansas City Area Development Council, the company chose the Kansas City region for its new location because of its proximity to its customers and a skilled workforce that is familiar with the manufacturing and automotive industry.
