Neapco Components Receives Funding to Expand in Beatrice, Nebraska

03/25/2011
Neapco Components, a maker of driveline components and assemblies for the automotive sector, expects to add 150 jobs in 2010 and 2011 at its Beatrice, Nebraska, facility.

"The partnership and support from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) was instrumental in making this project possible," said Keith Sanford, president, Neapco Components. "With the recent economic challenges, our focus has been on strategic options and operational improvements that further enhance the high quality and world-class value of our products."

The company received a $1 million Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from DED towards a 100,00-square-foot expansion. The DED also awarded Neapco $380,000 in job training funding. The company has applied for Nebraska Advantage incentives.
