PDCI Automotive Selects Lebanon, Kentucky, for Manufacturing Plant

03/28/2011
PDCI Automotive, a subsidiary of Pacific Die Cut Industries, has selected Lebanon, Kentucky, for a $1.6 million manufacturing facility that will create 40 jobs. The company will locate its plant in an existing 30,000-square-foot building.

"Our Lebanon, Kentucky facility is expected to employ at least 40 local employees within three years," said Mike Behnam, president of Pacific Die Cut Industries. "Our presence here is due to the business-friendly environment fostered by Governor Beshear, Marion County, the city of Lebanon, and the skilled, hard-working citizens of Kentucky. We express our gratitude and look forward to building a long-term partnership in our new Kentucky home."

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has preliminarily approved PDCI Automotive for tax incentives up to $1.125 million through the Kentucky Business Investment program.

PDCI will convert and die-cut soft and semi-rigid materials for the auto industry at the facility. Company clients include several large tier-one auto suppliers. PDCI expects to open the facility in August.
