Pharmaceutical Associates Expanding in Greenville County, South Carolina

Pharmaceutical Associates (PAI) is investing $8.5 million to expand its facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. The company will also create 15 new jobs.

"We are pleased to continue to grow our operations in Greenville County, and this investment will allow us to meet growing demand from our customers across the U.S.," said Clete Harmon, senior vice president of regulatory and business affairs for PAI. "Our team's quality, leadership, dedication, and integrity have paved the way for more than 30 successful years as we've grown here, and our state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution facility has been a cornerstone of PAI's success."

PAI will add 40,000 square feet to its existing 340,000-square-foot facility. It expects to complete the expansion by the end of the first quarter of 2012.

The company produces and packages liquid pharmaceuticals.
