President Container Group Expands Orange County, New York, Facility

The $40 million expansion will house President Container Group’s second state-of-the-art corrugator and new converting equipment, which will substantially increase the company’s manufacturing capacity.

Empire State Development awarded up to $3 million in Excelsior Jobs Tax Credits as an incentives in exchange for President Container Group’s investment and a commitment to create 50 new jobs at the facility.
Empire State Development Acting Commissioner and President & CEO-designate Eric Gertler said, “The expansion of President Container Group’s manufacturing facility in Orange County represents a $40 million investment in the region and will ensure that job retention and creation in the region are maintained in the manufacturing sector, which is an integral part of the region’s economic strategy.”

Additionally, not only has President Container Group invested in the newest industry technologies, making it the premier and largest corrugated manufacturing facility in North America under one roof, this project will bolster the local supply chain, and employ talent in the Mid-Hudson Region.
