Cascade Designs Opens Manufacturing-Distribution Center In Reno, Nevada

Cascade Designs, a leader in outdoor adventure gear, is opening a new manufacturing and distribution facility at Sage Point Business Park, 10990 Lear Blvd. in Reno, Nevada. The company plans to create up to 100 new jobs and expects to commence phased-in operations starting August 2015.

John Burroughs, Chairman/Founder of Cascade Designs said. "Reno was selected as the best site for expanding our operations where availability of large buildings, labor, housing, and outdoor recreation access were key factors in our decision to relocate. We also looked at Washington and Utah but Nevada came out on top," said Burroughs.

"The manufacturing sector has become a key component to our city's revitalization, as these prominent distribution centers continue to go up in north Reno," said Paul McKenzie, Reno City Council Member and representative of Ward 4, where the new facility will be located. "As someone who enjoys the outdoors myself, it's great to see an innovative company such as Cascade Designs join the ranks as one of the leaders of Reno's manufacturing movement."

"Cascade Designs, a leader in outdoor adventure gear, will manufacture and distribute their products in a region that is known for incredible outdoor recreational opportunities.”
