04/26/2019
According to Governor Greg Abbott’s Office, a Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $2,600,000 has been extended to Allstate Insurance Company to assist with its expansion project.
“We appreciate the partnership with the City of Irving as well as with the State of Texas,” said Greg Burns, Senior Vice President Human Resources, Allstate. “We’re excited to expand our presence in the Irving area as we provide the best service to customers, develop talent and serve the community.”
“Allstate is one of the largest and most recognizable insurance providers in the nation, and I am grateful for its continued investment in the Lone Star State,” said Governor Abbott.
“Allstate’s expansion in Irving is more than a capital investment, it is an investment in this community, one that will create more jobs and spur economic growth. With our talented workforce and business-friendly climate, companies like Allstate have the opportunity help write Texas’ economic success story,” he added.
“Irving’s healthy business climate allows the Irving Economic Development Partnership to retain valuable global companies while also attracting a talented workforce. Allstate’s decision to expand its presence is another example of the incredible momentum Irving-Las Colinas continues to experience as a hub for corporate business headquarters and corporate talent,” said Beth Bowman, President & CEO of the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce and Irving Economic Development Partnership.
“Irving is the gateway to North Texas with an unmatched central location, infrastructure and skilled-talent. It’s clear that why companies like Allstate continue to invest and grow in our community,” said Irving Mayor Rick Stopfer. “We look forward to working with Allstate as it expands its footprint and supports its employees as they engage in all that our diverse community has to offer.”
