R+L Carriers Plans Abilene, Texas, Trucking Operations

Logistics company R+L Carriers plans to establish operations in Abilene, Texas. The $15 million project is expected to create 22 jobs.

The investment will include the construction of a new 58,000-square-foot trucking terminal located on approximately 21 acres at the Access Business Park.

“Partnering with the DCOA on this expansion aligns with our vision of delivering exceptional services to the community in Abilene and the broader Texas region,” said Jeff Haungs, Vice President, R+L Carriers.

R+L Carriers is a Global Freight Transportation and Logistics company that offers a network of nationwide service centers for LTL, Truckload, Expedited and Cross-Border Shipping. In addition R+L has a portfolio of services that extends to International Supply Chain Management, Warehousing and Customs Brokerage.
