United Equipment Accessories Establishes Ames, Iowa, Operations

The investment will include the acquisition of a 36,000-square-foot facility along U.S. Highway 30.
“We are excited to announce the expansion of our Iowa footprint with the acquisition of a new building in Ames, Iowa,” said Deb Malek, CEO of United Equipment Accessories. “This strategic purchase is a key component of our growth strategy, aimed at enhancing our manufacturing capabilities and supporting future acquisitions. Our Waverly, Iowa operations will continue to focus on the growth of our existing product lines, including slip rings and rotary unions. The new Ames facility will undergo renovations to transition into a state-of-the-art manufacturing space, positioning UEA for continued success and innovation in the industries we serve.”
To support the project, the Iowa Economic Development Authority Board awarded the company a $95,000 forgivable loan and tax benefits through the High Quality Jobs program.

United Equipment Accessories’ offers a range of products for a variety of industries, including wind, construction, utility, and industrial.
