Exabeam Opens Atlanta, Georgia, Operations Center

05/03/2019
Exabeam, the California-based Smarter SIEM company, will establish an East Coast presence with an operations center in midtown Atlanta, Georgia.

According to company officials, the Atlanta office is considered a major strategic step in the company’s expansion plans, with executive leadership drawn to the city’s top universities for prospective hires and burgeoning tech scene. Exabeam currently has 15 employees in metro Atlanta but will consolidate the team to one centralized office in the City of Atlanta, with plans to more than double the size of the team over the next few years.

“Atlanta is a city on the rise, with its diverse population, technological talent, research universities and affordable cost of living. It was the right choice for investment,” said Manish Sarin, Exabeam CFO. “Just last year, Atlanta was declared the third fastest growing city in the U.S., and we are excited to be a part of the technology renaissance happening throughout the region with the opening of our Midtown location.”

“With insider threats increasing and external adversary attacks always evolving, it is critical that Exabeam hires top talent to support our customers’ security operations teams and keep our SIEM technology on the cutting edge. By expanding into Atlanta, we are not only setting up a hub closer to our East Coast and European customers but are gaining access to a diverse, highly-qualified pool of candidates,” said Nir Polak, CEO of Exabeam. “We plan to immediately begin recruitment from the top technology programs and historically black colleges throughout the state. We look forward to building out our latest world-class team in Atlanta.”

“We are excited that Exabeam has chosen to establish an East Coast office in Atlanta,” said Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Pat Wilson. “When innovative companies like Exabeam choose Georgia it bolsters our status as a hub for international cybersecurity companies. Exabeam will have access to a highly sophisticated technology infrastructure, talented workforce and accessibility with regular non-stop flights to their home base.”

“Cybersecurity is one of metro Atlanta’s industry sectors where we’re leading the way with capacity and innovation,” said Hala Moddelmog, President & CEO of the Metro Atlanta Chamber. “Exabeam is a welcome addition to our region’s portfolio of industry-changing companies that are helping to redefine the way businesses protect themselves and their customers in the ever-evolving data-driven market.”
