Hearth & Home Technologies Expands Mount Pleasant, Iowa, Production Complex

According the company officials, the manufacturer is increasing the production capacity in its Shingo Prize-winning facility, including incorporating gas hearth products for its Monessen brand. Already one of the largest employers in the area, the move is expected to add 35 jobs. The space also serves as one of HHT's regional distribution centers.
"Our world-class Mount Pleasant facility has been providing jobs since 1965," said V.P. Berger, President of HHT. "We are committed to creating opportunities in the community, and appreciate the support and commitment we've received from Mount Pleasant in return.
