Goken America Invests More Than $1.39 Million To Expand Dublin, Ohio, Facilities
07/31/2014
The new facility on Parkcenter Avenue, which it just purchased, provides an additional 15,000 square feet of space to accommodate current and future growth. The company’s investment, which is contingent upon City of Dublin approvals expected in August, also includes the creation of 15 new jobs, with positions in design, production engineering and computer modeling. Hiring is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year.
“The Columbus Region’s workforce quality and the competitive environment were key factors in our decision to expand our presence in Dublin,” said Doug Smith, CEO, Goken America.
“It is encouraging to see Goken America retain and expand its presence in Dublin with a long-term investment in a new, larger facility,” said Colleen Gilger, Economic Development Director, City of Dublin. “We welcome the high-quality jobs Goken America is bringing to the Region, and look forward to facilitating the company’s future growth.”
