Australian-Based Ecosave To Establish U.S. Headquarters At Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s Navy Yard

An Australian-based energy efficiency company, Ecosave, selected the Navy Yard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as the location for its U.S. headquarters, creating 125 new jobs.

“When Ecosave commenced looking to enter the North American market it visited and considered five cities in the Northeast for the setup of our headquarters,” said Macelo Rouco, CEO of Ecosave. “Thanks to Governor Corbett, Pennsylvania’s Office of International Business Development, the Governor’s Action Team, Select Greater Philadelphia and the City of Philadelphia for the great efforts made and the welcoming openness of the people we met throughout the region, we feel very well connected before we even moved to the area.”

“We have come to the conclusion that Philadelphia was the best city to both establish our business as well as live and the family and I are very excited to have moved to Philadelphia,” he added.

The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Office of International Business Development, partnered with the City of Philadelphia’s Commerce Department, Select Greater Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation.
