McLane Classic Foods Plans Headquarters-Manufacturing Hub in Burleson, Texas

McLane Classic Foods is investing $30 million to build a 157,951-square-foot headquarters and food processing facility at HighPoint Business Park East in Burleson, Texas.

A part of the McLane Group, McLane Classic Foods specializes in manufacturing custom developed and prepared soups, sauces and side dishes for national restaurant chains, including Potbelly Sandwich Shops, Denny’s, Panera Bread and Logan’s Roadhouse.

The company will be relocating their headquarters and manufacturing facility from Fort Worth, where it has been located since 1992, to Burleson bringing with them 40 jobs. The project will hopefully be opening their doors in the first quarter of 2019.

“We are excited to break ground and cannot wait to begin work on our new headquarters,” said Drayton McLane III from the McLane Group. “The Burleson team made the hard decision of finding a new location into a very easy one.”

“There is no comparison that Burleson was heads and shoulders above other cities we visited,” stated Chris Horan, McLane Classic Foods CEO. “Many of our employees and the ones we will attract will make their homes in Burleson. This is a great day for the McLane’s and the City of Burleson.”

“The entire Burleson community is excited to welcome McLane Classic Foods,” said Burleson’s Mayor, Ken Shetter, during the groundbreaking ceremony. “We, in Burleson, are dedicated to working with this great corporate partner as they build their new headquarters and develop their workforce.”
