Global Vessel & Tank Expands Iberia Parish, Louisiana, Production Operations

Global Vessel & Tank, a supplier of equipment for the oil and gas industry, plans to expand its operations in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. The $5.4 million project is expected to create 50 jobs.

The investment will include an additional 30,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space at the company’s existing facility which will increase capacity to produce oilfield processing equipment used throughout the Gulf South.

“We had the need for increased capacity because of customer demand,” Global Vessel & Tank CEO Nathan Pool said. “The expansion will allow us to meet our customers’ demands and expand our current footprint in Louisiana. This will create more jobs for our company and Louisiana.”

To support the project the state of Louisiana offered Global Vessel & Tank an incentives package that includes the comprehensive workforce development solutions of LED FastStart . The company is also expected to participate in Louisiana’s Quality Jobs and Industrial Tax Exemption programs.

Bourgeois noted. “The company’s growth in Iberia Parish highlights the important role of energy manufacturing in driving regional investment and job creation.”

Global Vessel & Tank, LLCa manufacturer of oil and gas surface production equipment, including custom-built pressure vessels and API 12-F storage tanks. The company also produces separation vessels, custom skid packages, and emission control products like flare booms.
