IPM Foods Relocates To Janesville, Wisconsin
12/11/2015
The company plans to consolidate various operations into one food-grade facility to increase production and expand capacity. The company is currently remodeling the facility to meet USDA, FDA and other certifications, with plans to double its workforce by the third quarter of next year.
IPM also plans to house its warehouse, packaging and distribution center at the Janesville site. The move from a facility in Beloit to Janesville, will also allow the firm to add production lines.
James Otterstein, Rock County Economic Development Manager said, "An extremely favorable development climate, facilitated by strong public and private sector partners, continues to deliver investments into the Janesville-Beloit MSA."
Earlier this year developer Tom Lasse and business partners constructed speculative buildings at the business park with assistance of city tax and loan incentives.
