Pulse Primary Care Plans Livonia, Michigan, Headquarters Operations

02/13/2025
Primary care practice Pulse Primary Care plans to establish operations in Livonia, Michigan. The approximately $10.5 million project is expected to create at least 579 jobs.

The company’s new headquarters will serve as a technology hub and training center for its care managers.

"I am proud to announce our innovative approach to primary care services. By harnessing advanced technology, we are revolutionizing patient care by monitoring health in between visits," said Dr. Belal Abdallah, CEO of Pulse Primary Care. "Our vision to expand nationwide starts with the establishment of our headquarters in Michigan, a strategic decision that reflects our commitment to excellence and growth."

The project is being supported by a Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant of $3.45 million.

"Pulse Primary Care is a growing Michigan company. As they expand nationally, their decision to build a headquarters here is significant," noted Maureen Donohue Krauss, president and CEO, Detroit Regional Partnership. "It demonstrates to companies around the country that we can also attract the talent they need because the Detroit Region is not only great for business, it's a fantastic place to live."

Pulse Primary Care goals include developing new technologies that improve lives and build a workforce trained to address current healthcare staffing shortages at all levels by creating employment opportunities and career advancement for individuals enrolled in skill development certificate programs, associate degrees at community colleges and advanced degrees. The company currently has locations in Battle Creek, Dearborn, Lenox and Livonia; along with Texas and Massachusetts.
