02/15/2026
The company’s new manufacturing facility, located at 308 Commerce Ave., will produce components for infrastructure, utility and commercial construction projects. Operations are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
“Coastal Precast Systems is proud to establish our first South Carolina operation in Laurens County. This facility will expand our ability to deliver high-quality precast and prestressed components for bridge and marine infrastructure across the Southeast. We appreciate the partnership of the state of South Carolina and Laurens County, and we look forward to creating skilled manufacturing jobs and becoming an active, long-term member of the community,” Coastal Precast Systems Owner Paul Ogorchock said.
To support the project the Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits.
“This approximately $9 million investment in Laurens County demonstrates the outstanding business-friendly reputation of the Palmetto State. We look forward to seeing Coastal Precast Systems succeed in Upstate South Carolina,” noted Secretary of Commerce Harry M. Lightsey III.
Coastal Precast Systems supplies concrete materials to the construction industry, including precast bridge components, building structures and marine projects.
