02/21/2020
Premier Automation, a nation-wide leader in industrial programming and controls, automation solutions and robotics, expanded operations into Forsyth County, Georgia.

“Premier Automation is excited about being a permanent part of the regional economy. We are making a substantial investment here and I am happy to say that this is just the beginning,” said Eli Evankovich, CEO of Premier Automation. “We are truly thankful for the help and support that we received from state and local officials,” noted Evankovich, “we simply would not have gotten this far without their help.”

According to Forward Forsyth to better serve customers in the Southeastern United States, the Premier Automation team worked diligently with local and state officials for nearly a year before finalizing the purchase of a new building and 6.5 acres of property in Alpharetta, Georgia.

The facility is currently manufacturing customized electrical control panels for regional customers and is actively hiring qualified engineers to build the team capable of offering the company’s full range of automation and robotics solutions. Premier Automation serves customers in a wide variety of industries including metals, light manufacturing, aerospace, food and beverage, paper, automotive, water/wastewater, glass and plastics.

“We are delighted that Premier Automation selected Forsyth County for their first location in the southeast,” said Robert Long, Vice President of Economic Development for Forward Forsyth. “With their heavy engineering requirement, they are a perfect fit for our community. We have one of the largest concentrations of engineers in Georgia.”

“We welcome Premier Automation to the growing number of engineering and technology companies in Forsyth County,” said Laura Semanson, Board of Commissioners Chairman and District 5 Commissioner. “It takes a lot of people working together to make something like this happen. We are grateful to the teams at the Premier Automation, the Georgia Department of Economic Development and Forward Forsyth, as well as our county staff in planning and community development and economic development, for their diligence in bringing this to fruition.”

“We’re proud that Premier Automation chose Alpharetta, Georgia, with its pool of highly skilled talent to better serve their clients,” said Pat Wilson, commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development. “Thanks to the work of our economic development partners, along with Eli Evankovich and the outstanding team at Premier Automation, the company is already off to a great start. We look forward to seeing continued growth and success at this new Premier Automation facility.”
