Würth Industry North America Plans Columbus, Ohio, Distribution Operations
03/24/2025
The investment will include the acquisition of a 472,000-square-foot facility at 1568 Georgesville Road, with room for an additional 500,000 square feet of future expansion.
“Columbus offers a strategic advantage for Würth Industry’s expansion, with its central location, robust infrastructure, and access to a skilled workforce,” said Bastian Rottenberg, CEO of Würth MRO, Safety & Metalworking, a division of Würth Industry North America. “This facility will allow us to better serve our customers across the US through enhanced distribution capabilities. I’d like to thank the City of Columbus and its partners for their collaboration throughout the process and we look forward to growing in the region for years to come.
JobsOhio plans to provide assistance for the project, which will be made public after a final agreement is executed.
“Würth Industry’s decision to expand in Ohio is further proof that our state offers the workforce, infrastructure, and business climate companies need to succeed,” noted JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “This investment strengthens Ohio’s position in logistics and industrial supply, and we look forward to supporting Würth’s long-term growth in the Columbus Region.
