B-K Tool & Design Expands Putnam County, Ohio, Manufacturing Operations

CNC shop B-K Tool & Design plans to expand its operations in Putnam County, Ohio. The $5.39 million project is expected to create 37 jobs.

The investment will include the construction of a 50,000 square-foot addition at the company’s existing production facility.

Continued investment in the business will continue to attract the most important component of our daily operation, which of course is our team members.”

To support the project the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a Job Creation Tax Credit.

The new, 50,000 square-foot expansion builds additional capacity for B-K Tool and Design to provide manufacturing, electrical, and automated solutions that will improve efficiencies for companies across sector lines,” J.P. B-K Tool & Design offers in-house manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, and control engineering capabilities.

“As B-K Tool embarks on its fifth expansion, the company is increasing its capacity to serve clients globally with cutting-edge automation equipment that is designed, engineered and manufactured in-house,” added Amy Sealts, Director, Economic Development, Putnam County Community Improvement Corporation. “Their growth in Kalida not only creates valuable opportunities for high-quality jobs, it also fosters innovation that drives the economy forward for Putnam County and Ohio.”
