Dollar Tree Opens Distribution Hub in Warrensburg, Missouri

Dollar Tree opened its 1- million square foot distribution facility in Warrensburg, Missouri. This ribbon cutting comes on the heels of an April 2017 announcement of Dollar Tree’s plans to invest $110 million and create 375 new jobs by 2020.

“Warrensburg is a great community and Dollar Tree is a great addition to the region,” Governor Mike Parson said. “Dollar Tree recognized Missouri’s business-friendly approach, our strengths in logistics and distribution, and the talent we have available in the region, and we are proud to have them investing and creating jobs in Missouri.”

“We are pleased to celebrate the grand opening of our new Warrensburg distribution center,” said Dollar Tree’s President & CEO Gary Philbin.

“This facility represents a key component to supporting Dollar Tree’s continued growth. We are pleased to be able to create jobs in the western Missouri region and are appreciative of the partnerships and support provided by the State of Missouri, Johnson County and the City of Warrensburg,” he added.

“The grand opening of the Dollar Tree Distribution Center is the result of long time efforts with our partners and community leaders, who consistently work together to prove we are an area determined to do business,” said Warrensburg Mayor Danielle Johnston. “We thank Dollar Tree for recognizing the great assets we have long known were available in Warrensburg. The impact of 375 new jobs in our area will be immense and we will continue this positive momentum and prepare for future growth.”
