Germany-Based Schutz Container Systems Expands St. Joseph, Missouri, Operations

Schütz Container Systems, an industrial container and packaging manufacturer and a division of Germany-based Schütz GmbH & Co., plans to expand its operations in St. Joseph, Missouri. The $31 million project is expected to create 20 jobs.

The investment will include the construction of a facility, located at the company’s existing site, for a new manufacturing line for industrial packaging..

“St. Joseph has proven to be the ideal place for us to grow,” said Frederik Wenzel, President and CEO of Schütz Container Systems. “With this expansion, we’re increasing our container manufacturing capacity and creating new jobs to meet rising demand. The skilled workforce and strong community support make St. Joseph the right place to invest in our future.”.

To support the project Schütz will benefit from the Missouri Works program, a tool that helps companies expand and retain workers by providing access to capital through withholdings or tax credits for job creation..

Schütz Container Systems specializes in the production and service of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) and other industrial packaging solutions..
