Winsupply Plans Regional Distribution Hub in Jacksonville, Florida
01/15/2019
Pattillo Industrial Real Estate developed Westside Industrial Park. The distribution center sits on 22.3 acres at 6282 Imeson Road.
The company is a $3.3 billion wholesaler-distributor of plumbing, industrial pipe, valves and fittings, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical, waterworks and other supplies to contractors in 45 states. The company plans to begin operations from the Jacksonville RDC in the second half of 2019.
Winsupply Support Services Group President John McKenzie said the distribution center will become Winsupply's fifth major regional distribution center joining Winsupply RDCs in Dayton, Ohio, Denver, Middletown, Connecticut, and Richmond, Virginia.
"The Southeast continues to be a growing market," McKenzie said. "A recent Forbes profile indicated that eight of the top 25 growth areas in America are in Florida. Having a distribution center in Jacksonville will lead to shorter delivery times to our local companies in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina. Speed to market is essential for meeting our customers' expectations."
Pattillo Industrial Real Estate Senior Vice President Peter Anderson said construction should be completed by April. "Winsupply is one of the largest distributors in the U.S. with strong growth and we feel fortunate they chose Pattillo Industrial and Westside Industrial Park for their newest distribution.
