Valley Racks Expands Grenada, Mississippi, Fabrication Plant

Steel fabrication company Valley Racks is expanding operations in Grenada, Mississippi. In addition to steel fabrication, the company provides water jet, laser and powder coating services.

According to state officials, Valley Racks’ expansion will increase the company’s capacity, allowing for the acquisition of new projects.

Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance for infrastructure improvements as an incentives. Grenada County is assisting with the expansion, as well.

“MDA is pleased that Valley Racks is expanding its operations creating new career opportunities for the people of Grenada County,” said MDA Executive Director Glenn McCullough, Jr. “We salute the teamwork of the Grenada Economic Development District and the Grenada County Board of Supervisors, which is a model of effective partnerships which benefit the people of Grenada County and the state of Mississippi.”

“Valley Racks decision to grow in Grenada is a testament to the state’s supportive business climate, which continues to create jobs for Mississippians and create more vibrant communities throughout the state,” Governor Phil Bryant said. “I wish the Valley Racks team many more years of success in Grenada County.”
