Spain's Grupo Eulen Investing $30 Million, Creating 500 Jobs in Florida

10/08/2009
Grupo Eulen, a Spain-based provider of security and facilities management outsourcing to international companies, will invest US$30 million to relocate its regional headquarters from Mexico City to Miami, Florida, according to the South Florida Business Journal. More than 500 new jobs are planned with the relocation and expansion, which was created by the company's acquisition of the former ASM Aviation Services; it will be rebranded as Eulen America. "We at Grupo Eulen are extremely pleased with our new venture with ASM and are confident that Eulen America's commitment to quality and its experienced management team will be a strong platform for our U.S. entity," says Juan Carlos Alvarez, the company's CEO. "Miami is at the literal crossroads of North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean, and we view it as the ideal location from which to launch our North American endeavors, while expanding upon our existing operations throughout the region." No information was released regarding financial incentives.
