Korea-Based Auto Supplier Locating First U.S. Plant in Alabama

INZI Controls, a South Korea-based auto supply manufacturer, will locate its first American facility in Elba, Alabama, according to the Enterprise Ledger. The company will acquire auto supplier Toledo Molding and Die in Elba, and will create up to 200 new jobs; the current plant manager will be kept in his position at the new company. "This plant will be our home," says Koo-Ryong Jung, chair of INZI Controls. "I will reinvest in this community." INZI Controls has 22 plant locations in South Korea, India, China, and Malaysia that employ 44,000 workers. The new company will continue Toledo Molding's manufacture of injection and blow-molded parts.
