TD Ameritrade Plans $3 Million Ann Arbor, Michigan, Technology Center
02/25/2014
"TD Ameritrade's new Advanced Technology Group in Ann Arbor shows the power of retaining talent in this region, and the power of being able to attract top business and technical talent. The new managing director of TD Ameritrade's new operations here, Vijay Sankaran, is a former Technical Director at Ford Motor Company, and its first employee, Chris Kurecka, is a graduate and former employee of University of Michigan who has deep ties to this region," said Paul Krutko, president and CEO of Ann Arbor SPARK. "Ann Arbor SPARK connected TD Ameritrade with state incentives and will also help it with job seeker networking events as it ramps up operations."
“Leading businesses like TD Ameritrade can locate anywhere in the world, but they recognize the unparalleled benefits of being located here: Access to talent, close proximity to one of the world’s leading research universities, low cost of doing business, and strong support from the state and local community,” he added.
