Lake Oconee Biotech Park Could Create 500 Jobs

The Rock Eagle Science Technology Park may cost more than $150 million. It is part of a 1,250-acre, mixed-use development that will have a high school, housing, and retail spaces.
A Southern California-based company that manufactures medical equipment is expected to be the park's central tenant, according to Ted Baker, manager of Georgia Fall Line Properties LLC, the project owner and developer.
