The 80,000 square foot warehouse is conveniently located at 8750 Elmwood Avenue in Kansas City with direct access to the greater Kansas City region. According to company officials, the facility is the 19th location for Imperial Dade and will add to the company’s growing footprint in the Midwest.
“We are excited to be growing our presence in the Midwest through the opening of our new warehouse in Kansas City,” said Imperial Dade CEO Robert Tillis. The company’s operations in the new facility officially launched on February 12th with deliveries to nearby locations of Balls Foods, a group of supermarket chains operating under the Hen House, Price Chopper, and Sun Fresh brands.
“It is an honor to partner in this new frontier with Imperial Dade,” said Scott Bayne, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Balls Foods.
Jason Tillis, President of Imperial Dade, said, “We view this expansion into Kansas City, our recent acquisition of Kranz in the Chicago area, and the broader Midwest region as critical to our vision at Imperial Dade of becoming the leading national provider in our industry. We look forward to growing in this market and providing area customers with exceptional service and solutions to meet their disposable food service and janitorial supply needs.”
