04/14/2026
Through a partnership with Prodrive Technologies the company will produce quantum control systems, supporting manufacturing, systems integration, logistics, and customer support functions aligned with growing demand for quantum infrastructure.
“Building and shipping our systems in the United States allows us to be closer to the researchers, engineers, and institutions driving quantum innovation forward,” said Niels Bultink, Co-founder and CEO of Qblox. “This expansion reflects our long-term investment in the U.S. quantum ecosystem and our belief that proximity matters operationally, strategically, and economically.”
Qblox develops open-architecture quantum control electronics that support research institutions, government agencies, and industry partners working to advance quantum computing and related technologies.
“Massachusetts is where breakthrough technologies move from research to real-world deployment,” noted Eric Paley, Secretary of Economic Development for Massachusetts. “By establishing its U.S. manufacturing hub in Canton, Qblox is strengthening domestic supply chains while tapping into the state’s deep bench of scientific talent and advanced manufacturing capabilities.”
