Schumacher Company Expands Durant, Iowa Plant
05/24/2018
According to company officials, GROUP SCHUMACHER is investing in a new factory, office building, and modern production lines.
Schumacher LC manufactures and assembles all Schumacher products that are marketed in North America and develops all sales strategies for the US, Canada and Mexico.
With the investment Schumacher LC implements its strategy to modernize and expand its capacities for the North American market. Even though AG Technology faces strong ups and downs during the last years, the overall perspective of the agricultural sector is positive, states General Manager Selina Schumacher.
"On a long term we strive to implement our growth strategy by using the potential of our products, people and the chances we see in being a partner for all those involved in harvesting. The new building here in Durant makes us even more flexible in production and quality management."
In 1994 Schumacher opened its business in Durant, Iowa, which the company said is an ideal location in a rural environment close to the agricultural production and farmer’s needs.
