GOJO Expands Manufacturing-Distribution-Warehousing In Wooster, Ohio

GOJO, inventors of PURELL Advanced Hand Sanitizer, will lease 1.3 million square feet of space in Wooster, Ohio. The space will be used to expand manufacturing, warehousing and distribution operations.

According to the firm its GOJO Wooster Campus is in addition to the GOJO headquarters in Akron, Ohio, manufacturing and distribution in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and operations worldwide including those in the United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Mexico and France. It will take the next six months to a year to update the infrastructure of the facilities and begin operations in Wooster.

With the addition of the GOJO Wooster Campus, GOJO anticipates increasing its workforce over the next several years. The company expects to add 30-50 new jobs at the GOJO Wooster Campus within the next year and more than a total of 240 jobs as operations expand.
