Germany-Based MTU Maintenance Expands Fort Worth, Texas, MRO Operations

The investment will include the modernization and expansion of the company’s existing facility, located at the Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport, allowing it to become a full disassembly, assembly, and testing hub.
“We have a clear business strategy for regional collaboration, are committed to job creation, and both excited and prepared for significant growth,” said Gernot Sell, Managing Director, MTU Maintenance Fort Worth.
MTU Maintenance, part of MTU Aero Engines, provides services including engine trend monitoring, technical asset management, spare engine support, and on-site/near-wing services.
“It’s exciting in Fort Worth to have a company of this size and scale expand its operations and increase its footprint and its ability to deliver for their customers,” noted Robert Allen, president and CEO of the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership.
