FCX Performance to Expand Its Presence In Columbus, Ohio
07/30/2013
“The Columbus Region offers an ideal location for our operations, given its access to key customers and skilled workforce,” said Charles Hale, president, FCX Performance. “Those attributes have helped to facilitate FCX’s success, so it’s only fitting to stay in the Region as we embark on the next stage of the company’s growth.”
The company, which is currently headquartered on the east side of Columbus, plans to lease an additional facility to accommodate its recent growth. The new space will be located near the company’s existing facility and will house sales, technical support and customer service operations, Columbus 2020 said. Along with the facility expansion, FCX Performance will add 19 employees during the next three years. Positions will include sales, administrative and valve and instrument repair technicians.
“Whenever we see a company investing and adding jobs in Columbus, it’s a testament to the value we’re able to offer growing businesses,” said Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman. “This expansion further strengthens our economy while providing new employment opportunities for our residents.”
