09/01/2026
Glass container manufacturer Owens-Brockway Glass Container Inc. plans to expand its operations in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

The multi-million-dollar project will include upgrades to the company’s existing manufacturing facility, including glass-melting furnaces, production equipment, control systems, and safety technology.

“Our Muskogee facility has been part of this community for generations, and this investment is a reflection of our confidence in the people and the place,” said O-I Glass Inc. Director of Operations Arnaldo De Marzi. “By upgrading our equipment, we are positioning our Muskogee plant for continued growth while maintaining our commitment to quality and to the workforce that makes it all possible.”

To support the project, O-I Glass Inc. received a $2 million award through the Oklahoma Department of Commerce’s Business Expansion Incentive Program.

“We’re proud to support O-I Glass Inc. as they continue investing in their Muskogee facility,” added Port Muskogee Executive Director Kimbra Scott. “Projects like this strengthen our industrial base, retain quality jobs, and reinforce Muskogee’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing.”

O-I Glass Inc. manufactures glass packaging products for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical markets. The company’s Muskogee facility has operated since 1988 and is one of the region’s largest industrial employers.
