KEG 1 Plans Distribution Hub in Temple, Texas

KEG 1 O’Neal will soon begin an $10-million expansion project to expand its distribution center on 23 acres at the corner of Lucius McCelvey Drive and Enterprise Road in Temple, Texas.

The expansion will include construction of an 80,000-square foot new office and commercial distribution warehouse and is expected to create 50 additional jobs for a total of 110 employees.

According to the Temple Economic Development Corporation, the company distributes a large assortment of alcoholic beverages to 30 counties in Texas, 12 of the 30 counties in Central Texas will be served from their Temple facility. KEG 1 has other facilities in Early, Fredericksburg, and Weatherford, Texas.

As an incentive, Temple EDC Board of Directors approved an economic development agreement that includes a land grant.
