Howmet Aerospace Expands Wichita Falls, Texas, Manufacturing Operations

Aerospace and transportation engineering solutions provider Howmet Aerospace plans to expand its operations in Wichita Falls, Texas. The approximately $70 million project is expected to create 230 jobs.

The investment will include the addition of approximately 100,000 square feet of space at the company’s existing manufacturing facility.

“Howmet Aerospace is proud of our nearly five-decade-long presence in Wichita Falls,” said Howmet Aerospace Plant Manager Rodney Buchanan. “We remain grateful to community leaders for their partnership and support for our continued growth.” Howmet Aerospace is a manufacturer of advanced engineered components for the aerospace, defense, and commercial transportation industries. The company specializes in the manufacturing of jet engine components, aerospace fastening systems, engineered structures, and forged aluminum wheels.
