Taiwan-Based Wistron Plans Fort Worth, Texas, Operations
09/05/2025
The company’s two new AI supercomputing facilities will be located within AllianceTexas. Operations are scheduled to begin in early 2026.
“As Wistron continues to expand its AI-related product capabilities and align with our strategic roadmap, establishing manufacturing operations in the United States is a critical step in meeting the needs of our customers and advancing our global vision. After a thorough evaluation of key factors such as talent availability, robust logistics infrastructure, and a vibrant industrial ecosystem, Fort Worth, Texas, emerged as the optimal choice,” said Jackie Lai, Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing for American and European Operations, Wistron.
Wistron Corporation is a hardware and equipment company specializing in information and communication technology products, including computers, servers, and displays. The company serves as a global supplier for various ICT products and provides related services like manufacturing, electronic waste recycling, and software development.
“What an amazing moment for the booming Fort Worth economy. Wistron looked at sites all over the country. In the end, the company decided that Fort Worth is the place to be. And these two new locations not only will create jobs but also help make Fort Worth a leader in AI. The future of manufacturing is going to be built right here in Fort Worth,” noted Robert Allen, Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership President and CEO.
