Response Packaging Expands Manufacturing Complex In Greenville, South Carolina
01/27/2017
With facilities in both the United States and Mexico, Response Packaging serves some of the largest original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in North America, as well as their respective supply bases by providing manufacturing, design and prototype support and project analysis solutions.
According to state officials, the expansion of the company's Greenville County operation is designed to increase its capacity and capability in order to support the regional growth of the automotive industry.
"Response is excited to expand its footprint in North America by creating more product offerings to become a fully integrated supplier. We feel that this expansion will differentiate us as a supplier in an evolving industry and position us for continued market share growth," said Response Packaging CEO Brett Kraeling.
"Response Packaging is another example of a company that helps make South Carolina the wonderful place that it is. From the talented people who make up our workforce to the critical infrastructure necessary to do business, our state has so much to offer to companies looking for a place to call home, and that's an important part of what makes South Carolina so special," Gov. Henry McMaster said.
"Team South Carolina has cultivated a positive business environment within our borders, allowing companies like Response Packaging to grow and succeed. This expansion is a big win for the Upstate, and I'm excited to watch this company thrive for years to come," Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt said.
"Existing industries are vital to the long-term success of Greenville, and the county continually works to create a robust business climate and strong workforce. We're grateful for Response Packaging's expansion and its continued commitment to Greenville," Greenville County Councilman Dr. Bob Taylor explained.
