Hubert Opens Western Region Food Distribution Center In Reno, Nevada
02/12/2015
According to the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, the Reno distribution center will provide full-service distribution services for the western thirteen states in one-to-two days. Most orders are shipped the same day and include one-day service to California. Hubert's new distribution center is the company's second U.S. location with its first being located in Harrison, Ohio.
"Reno provides the best combination of logistics infrastructure, service time, and cost to best serve the western marketplace and improve our penetration in this region," said Rodger Reed, General Manager, Hubert Company, Western Distribution Center. "Our western customers will benefit greatly from lower transportation costs and reduced lead time from a single distribution point coming out of Reno, Nevada."
"It is exciting to see companies like Hubert choose Reno for their West Coast Distribution. It is these smaller, growing companies like Hubert that make up the backbone of our economy and add to our growing economic diversification," said Mike Kazmierski, CEO of Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada. "The strategic location of Reno-Sparks is unique and international companies, like Hubert, are finding that in addition to being a great location, Reno-Sparks is also a great place for business," Kazmierski said.
