Aerosync Support Expands Its Santa Rosa County, Florida, Helicopter Maintenance Center
01/22/2015
Greg Barlett, Aerosync President said, “There is a large aerospace market in both commercial and military sectors that are in need of the services we offer. Milton and the Santa Rosa Industrial Park is a great location for us with room to expand as future demands increase. We are very excited about being here and look forward to employing many talented folks in this area.”
Aerosync Support Inc. provides global on-site labor support for Bell and Sikorsky helicopter products. They service both commercial and military markets, specializing in depot level upgrades/modifications with heavy or crash damage repairs. In addition Aerosync designs and builds precision tooling and aircraft support equipment specialized for the aerospace market.
Governor Rick Scott said, “We are working hard to make Florida the number one destination for businesses. By working with the legislature to eliminate the sales tax on manufacturing equipment, we have made Florida an ideal place for manufacturing businesses like Aerosync Support to grow and succeed, which means more jobs for our families. We will keep working to create opportunities for every single person in Florida so we can become the global leader in job creation.”
Secretary of Commerce and Enterprise Florida President President/CEO Gray Swoope said, “I am excited for Aerosync Support’s establishment in Florida and look forward to seeing the company’s growth in the panhandle. Northwest Florida is one of the nation’s top regions for aviation and aerospace companies, and this project will not only boost that industry but the manufacturing sector in the area as well.”
This project was made possible through strong partnerships between Enterprise Florida, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, and the Santa Rosa Board of County Commissioners.
Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Executive Director Jesse Panuccio said, “Aerosync Support’s decision to open a facility in Santa Rosa County is another example of business and manufacturing-friendly policies working in Florida. Florida’s manufacturing industry already ranks in the top ten in the nation, and low taxes and an experienced workforce will continue to bring great companies like Aerosync Support to the Sunshine State. The establishment of Aerosync Support’s Northwest Florida facility will mean 25 more Florida families will be given a chance to live the American dream.”
