Jayco Expands its Twin Falls, Idaho, Operations
10/04/2017
Jayco said it plans to start the process immediately and looks forward to fast-tracking the project with the assistance and support of both the state of Idaho and the city of Twin Falls.
"Our executive team considered several western states when searching for the right fit for expansion," stated Matt Thompson, COO for Jayco, Inc. "We concluded that capitalizing on the benefits offered in Twin Fallsout-weighed benefits outside the state of Idaho."
"Governor Butch Otter and his team; the Idaho Commerce Department; and Don Hall, Twin Falls County Commissioner, were especially helpful in the process and supported what we were trying to accomplish in the region,” Thompson added.
Idaho Lieutenant Governor Brad Little shared, "There is nothing more heartening than when the economic conditions are right for an existing Idaho company to deepen its roots and create more great opportunities for Idahoans. The expansion of Jayco further confirms Idaho's leadership in growing jobs and incomes in America.""Jayco has been a strong corporate partner in the city of Twin Falls for more than a decade. Their business continues to grow and we're very pleased that they elected to expand further in our community," stated Nathan Murray, City of Twin Falls Economic Development Director. "We look forward to continuing this partnership and seeing Jayco grow."
"Jayco's expansion brings more high-quality jobs and a significant investment to our region, but more importantly it represents the success of both Jayco and southern Idaho," said Don Hall, Twin Falls County Commissioner. "Jayco took a chance on Twin Falls in 2005, and now we're celebrating their expansion and 12 years of working to manufacture and deliver innovative recreation trailers that are built with craftsmanship right here in Twin Falls.
