Mimeo Relocates Headquarters-Operations in Memphis, Tennessee
11/20/2018
The company’s Memphis facility is located adjacent to FedEx’s Global Hub, enabling large volumes of last-minute content to be shipped anywhere in the world, for delivery as early as the next morning. The expansion and location of the headquarters in Shelby County enables Mimeo to better route customer work to the most strategic locations for fulfillment to end delivery.
With this expansion, Mimeo will be growing its production capacity; hiring in the areas of sales, services, engineering, and operations; and establishing its U.S. headquarters in Memphis.
“We are excited to recruit hundreds of new 'Mimiacs’ across all levels to our Memphis headquarters,” Mimeo CEO & Founding Team Member John Delbridge said. “Memphis has been part of our story from startup to global enterprise and remains core to supporting our growing customer base.”
“I thank Mimeo for choosing to expand and establish its headquarters in Memphis,” Governor Bill Haslam said. “Tennessee’s central location makes it a perfect location for this print technology company. Memphis specifically is a perfect fit for Mimeo, with its innovative history to grow, with the FedEx World Hub located right in the company’s backyard. I appreciate Mimeo’s commitment to our state by creating 300 new jobs and as more companies take advantage of our ideal location and business-friendly environment, Tennessee will lead in the creation of high-quality jobs.”
“I congratulate Mimeo on its decision to expand and establish its headquarters in Memphis,” Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe said. “Mimeo has been a part of Memphis since 2000 and it means a great deal that this global company has continued to see the benefit of being located in Memphis. I want to thank Mimeo for doubling its workforce in Memphis with the creation of these 300 new jobs and look forward to seeing the company to continue to succeed in our state.”
“Mimeo's decision to relocate its corporate headquarters to Memphis, while also adding additional office and production capacity, is testimony both to the company's commitment to the community and the benefits the community can offer to a dynamic global firm,” said Reid Dulberger, EDGE President & CEO.
“TVA congratulates Mimeo on its decision to expand operations in Memphis,” said TVA Senior Vice President of Economic Development John Bradley. “It’s always an exciting day when we can celebrate company’s commitment to investing in the Valley and we are proud to partner with Memphis Light Gas and Water, Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, city of Memphis and Shelby County, and EDGE to support existing industry growth.”
