12/28/2025
Salvagnini America, a division of Italy-based Salvagnini Group, plans to expand its operations in Hamilton, Ohio. The $6 million project is expected to create 28 jobs.

The investment will allow the company to enhance its customer experience center and improve the current offices.

“Our continued investment in Hamilton reflects Salvagnini’s confidence in Ohio’s skilled workforce and strong educational and industrial ecosystem,” said Andrea Scarpari, CEO at Salvagnini America. “These new jobs will help us meet growing demand for advanced automation solutions and reinforce our position as a leader in sheet metal processing: the ultimate goal is to keep improving our customer experience through excellent support.”

The project is being supported by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) with a 1.338 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

“Advanced manufacturing is a key industry in Ohio that is backed by a robust workforce,” noted JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “SencorpWhite and Salvagnini America’s decision to invest in southwest Ohio will bring high-quality jobs to Hamilton with roles spanning engineering, assembly, IT and more.”

Salvagnini designs, builds, sells and services flexible machines and systems for sheet metal processing. The company specializes in advanced machinery such as panel benders, fiber lasers, and punching systems.

“The REDI Cincinnati team is proud to contribute to Hamilton’s continued rise by partnering to announce two economic development wins: an Italian-based company with a 40-year presence in Hamilton expanding its operations and a new employer investing in our region. Together, these initiatives will bring 258 new jobs, with an average annual salary of nearly $90,000,” added Kimm Lauterbach, president and CEO of REDI Cincinnati. “The combination of continued foreign direct investment and new business creates a balanced momentum that strengthens Hamilton’s diverse manufacturing base, lifting the entire community.”
