According to the firm, in this new facility called the Vet Innovations Technology and Engineering Center, the primary focus is on designing, building, and testing new products that incorporate access-control technology. These activities will be conducted to develop, refine and validate new products as part of the overall production development process.
Bob LaRoche, Vet Innovations’ CEO/President, said, “We are pleased about reaching this important milestone in the history of Vet Innovations. This new facility will enable us to deliver on our production schedule and stay on track for launch.”
The company plans to introduce new feeding devices designed to reverse and prevent pet obesity, a widespread and growing epidemic afflicting more than half of all pets in the United States, officials said.
“My engineering team and I will perform a wide variety of tests to ensure that the technology and products work as designed and that we are ready to launch,” says Dave Jalbert, Vice President of Product Development and Operations.
