03/06/2019
Frontier renovated the 4th floor of their existing facility to accommodate the new operation. This is the third expansion Frontier has announced in Horry County.
“The Myrtle Beach community is highly confident in the quality of the local work force, especially the scores of new Frontier employees. We welcome them to our team. The experience of being part of a new center has been wonderful, and it’s only getting better as more team members are added. I’m looking forward to all the future will bring for our center,” Director, Residential Call Centers, Juan Escoda said.
“We looked at Myrtle Beach and quickly realized this community understands business, appreciates investment, and knows how to promote itself, not just as a tourist destination, but also as a world-class business location. The facility provides a great atmosphere for employees and Frontier is building out broadband services across its markets, introducing faster internet speeds and offering an assortment of services for households and businesses in the Myrtle Beach area as well as the other 29 states serviced,” said Senior Manager of the Offline Support Center, Myrtle Beach, Barbara Pratt.
“As Myrtle Beach strives to become a Smart City of the future, it is with much excitement that I welcome Frontier Communications new Call Center. One of the strategic goals of the City’s Revitalization Master Plan is to make our Downtown a great place to live, work, visit and play. With over 70 new jobs created by Frontier, we are one step closer to reaching our goal! On behalf of the City of Myrtle Beach, I thank Frontier Communications for their continued investment in our area. As we evolve and grow, we look forward to Frontier growing and prospering with us,” City of Myrtle Beach, Mayor, Brenda Bethune said.
"On behalf of the entire MBREDC Board and Staff, I would like to thank Frontier Communications for continuing their growth and success in Myrtle Beach/Horry County. Frontier Communications is another example of our winning workforce and opportunities to do business in this area. We appreciate the opportunity to assist Frontier Communications in any way, we congratulate them on their growth and look forward to working with the Frontier team in the future,” MBREDC President & CEO, Sandy Davis noted.
